Service
KADEMATIC® life jackets need to be serviced every 2 years by KADEMATIC® or in a service station authorised by KADEMATIC®. In the event of extreme conditions or unintended use a shorter service interval may be necessary.
SOLAS life jackets need to be serviced acc. to the current SOLAS provisions.
Every life jacket has a test badge which shows the date of the next service.
| How does a fully automatic KADEMATIC® life jacket work? | ||
 | After dropping into the water the automatic NAUTOMATIC® 3002 S trigger system inflates the life jacket with CO2 gas within the time allowed by the CE standard. If required inflation can also be triggered manually. After deployment in water you can always make the life jacket operational again using the spares kit and the manual. You should always have a suitable spares kit for your KADEMATIC® life jacket on board. You can always check the readiness of the trigger system on the three indicators that are visible on the system (A, B, C). | |
