(150 Newton Lifejackets / 32g CO2 Gas-cartridge)
- Is the CO2-cartridge filled correctly and without any signs of damage?
- Has the automatic capsule been checked? Does it show three green indicators?
- Has the inflation chamber been deflated completely?
- Is the holding valve of the oral inflation tube closed? Is the tube closed with the dustcap?
Now you can start re-packing the vest ...

You start with the side of the automatic capsule, the left side of the lifevest as seen from the front. Fold the lower side of the inflation chamber at the stamped line backwards. |
Fold the left side of the inflation chamber under. The manual inflation toggle lying freely above. |
Fold the right (inner) side of the inflation chamber over the automatic capsule. |
The manual inflation toggle lies outward. Close the velcro strips and the press studs of the outer lining firmly. |
Fold the lower part of the inflation chamber at the stamped mark under. Put the lifting becket on top of the inflation chamber. The holding valve of the oral inflation tube is closed. The tube is closed with the dustcap. |
Fold the right (outer) side of the inflation chamber inwards. Put the left (inner) side of the inflation chamber on top of the inflation chamber. |
Tuck the corners of the inflation-chamber sticking out in the neck-area back inwards. |
Close the velcro-strips of the outer shell firmly. To re-adjust the lifevest the backstrap should be adjusted rather shortly. A flat hand should fit between the breast-belt and the body, at the most. The quick-release buckle has to be closed with a distinct click. |
